Thanksgiving Trees!

Sorry guys, it has been awhile. I have been bothering mom to let me back on the computer and she JUST NOW said okay!

So this thing called Thanksgiving just passed by and let me tell you it was really interesting. I have to say first off though, that I got TOTALLY sick the day before and was throwing up a lot on the actual day. Being that it seemed to be a day about nothing other than cooking and eating? This was a major bad deal as far as I am concerned.

There was a VERY interesting bird carcass and something amaaaaazing called "ham". Mom said that even when I felt better Thanksgiving night I could not have any of EITHER. I cried. I did. I admit it. They smelled so GOOD. I did eventually get some of both but THAT day, well. Nothing worse than a stomach that says "NO" when your brain is all like..."YES YES YES!".

Strangers came over and that was only sort of okay with me. I tried to be civil as you do, but the one that looked a little bit like mom tried to pick me up. Didn't go over well...but I don't think she will make that error again so all's well that ends well. I kept to myself after that, since I was just feeling so blah.

Once everyone left, and I had a super long nap, I felt better. Mom was very glad about that. She worries a lot when I am sick. I think she feels guilty because of all the wonderful things I get to eat. It's worth it, mom. It is. The Moon is at it's loveliest when it is FULL, ya know? ;)

OH! Another really cool thing. A TREE IS IN OUR HOUSE! Apparently Opa Yahoo tells me isn't a REAL tree (he would know, because when he was less old he went out the Big Doors a few times and he tells me all kinds of stories)...but he said "It is a reasonable facsimile". He loves to say words he doesn't think I understand, but hello? GOOGLE!

I digress (see? GOOGLE)...the fake tree has so many wonderfully shiny and bright lights, and tiny dangly things hanging from it now. I thought my head was gonna pop off and roll across the rug when it happened. But I maintained...I am almost a grown cat now so I have to act the part. "Nothing matters." haha!

Boxes covered in paper have started being stacked under this fabulous tree, to what purpose? Heck if I know, BUT, every time I try to take the paper off? I get "The Bottle"...so you KNOW whatever they are they are EXCELLENT.

Whatever is coming, I am thinking it will be exciting! Mom seems stressed but she is also baking a lot so I say that's mostly good! I love cookies :)
